Party like its 1984

It was at last the night of the long-awaited hair metal party!!! My gang of girls and I all met up early on in the night and drank vodka and champagne while listing to some good old Guns n Roses, L.A. guns and Hanoi Rocks. There where costume changes, lots of attention paid to dramatic make up but above all TONS of Hair teasing!!! Once we all looked like a pile of trashy 80s babes we set off.

Our destination was a birthday bash for three lovely people Taylor, Albie and Amanda. There was a killer line up of bands such as Sweet pups, Shakes, Freedom Club and WHŸTE LEATHÜR. All where fucking rad. The high light of the night for me was certainly seeing WHŸTE LEATHÜR for the first time. Seattle’s # one hair metal band for sure!! They killed it. Everyone should like there fb page and stay tuned for future shows….The rest of the night was spent sharing our champagne bottles with our nearest and dearest while rocking out.

Here are the photos!!!

Fragment, pt.3

I see you, but you don’t see me.
Just another pass me by on the street.
Steal a glance, take no chances,
As I focus on my eyes deceit.

Thoughts manifest into nighttime dreams.
I’m sorry, but you don’t know,
That I pretend you’re here with me.

A life never lived,
Feelings never felt.
Reality presented when illusions cards are dealt.

No ill words will be spoken.
No hearts will be broken.
A stranger who brought upon this fascination,
Will remain a part of my imagination.

Fragment is a variety of photo and pocket journal musings.
The following were taken on a Yashica Auto Focus Motor-D, developed 7/1/2011

Disposable Camera # Fifteen

Some photos of the last week or so. Lots from Echos Birthday at Vito’s (my new favorite bar) and some at the cha cha. A few good ones from an amazing night with Ursula Rose….I  so want her Keith Richards t-shirt I’m wearing in the photos!!! I guess I was lucky enough to sleep in it for one night.

Iggy Pop

Here are some of my all time favorite photos of Iggy and some good quotes too. I love this man and his music!!

“Punk rock is a word used by dilettantes and heartless manipulators about music that takes up the energies, the bodies, the hearts, the souls, the time and the minds of young men who give everything they have to it.”

”She looked at me penetratingly. So I suppose you can figure out what happened next.”

“I stare at myself in the mirror and I think, ‘Wow, I’m really great-looking.’… I think I’m the greatest, anyway.”

“They say that death kills you, But death doesn’t kill you. Boredom and indifference kill you.”

Fall or Winter

Our taste was hot on her lips and the wine was sour in her heart.
Your eyes kept locking together more out of habit then desire.
You wondered what she saw when she gazed so blindly…
He held a strand of tears each drop belonging to a cast aside lover and he placed it around her throat pulling tightly.
She saw a falling star… a streak of  Mercury in her heart.
You wonder if she tastes the poison in the bubbles…you seem to think its all she is living for.
The fog was thick and her sighs where heavy.
There where echos in the quite city…
Memories waiting at every turn of the hand
At every edge of each others face.
Feathers on the ground, ash in smoking eyes, sticky tables and soft skin pressed together in the night.
You both tried to keep the cold out of your body’s by placing it in your hearts.
